Regarding getting old...
My cancer center has this huge parking lot* and I always park way out and walk in so the more infirm can get parking places up close. So, last Friday as I was making the hike in, I marveled at how some of us grow old and decrepit before our time and others seem pretty darn active despite our age. I put a little more spring in my step and counted my blessings.
*big enough that they have a shuttle service, picking up people and dropping them off between their cars and the front door.

Not to mention that many of these people are in the poor condition they suffer because of neglect and laziness all their lives.
What always amazes me is the people who come to the gym and cruise back and forth looking for a parking spot as close to the front door as possible. "HELLOOOO, you're here to get some exercise, why not get started by a walk from the back of the parking a lot. Duh!! " SMFH
