Noises are hard to locate if you can't repeat them in the shop. It's worse when they are intermittent on the road. Lots of click/pop noises come from the seat and post. I also had a click I couldn't find so in desperation I took the bottom bracket apart and lubed it and that fixed it.
Take the wheels out of the frame and put a little lube where things interface. Lean on the saddle with both hands and try to twist it around. Turn the bike upside down and lean into the pedals and twist/torque things around. Check the chainring bolts. Lean/twist the handle bars and stem.
