I don't think anyone would say that. FSA rings are as stiff nor do they have the ramp profiles of DA. DA is the gold standard for front shifting. I have never missed a front shift with DA DI2 even shifting ring and cassette at the same time.
OK, that's exactly what I think of DA rings also. I have always had problems with FAS rings.
