I disagree. In the 7,000 miles I’ve ridden so far this year I’ve been passed by, at the very least 10,000 drivers. I’ve had about a dozen passes that were closer than I would have liked, but zero or maybe one close calls. I guess I’m just lucky, or perhaps the drivers in my area are much more considerate than in other places. To me it appears that the overwhelming majority of drivers are quite cautious.
