Vetta made a lot of nice stuff. The ONLY thing I knew of that wasn't really up to par was their version of the Blackburn low-rider front rack. the Blackburn rack had a front hoop that went to the front top of the rack and then on down to the fork. The Vetta one only joined at the top of the rack and thus was prone to swaying. A friend of mine broke his at the start of a two-weeks long logging/mining road tour.
I have a Vetta saddle on one of my bikes. The saddle used to be white but got badly scuffed when it rubbed against the low stippled ceiling in a stairway as I was carrying the bike up the stairs. I recovered the saddle back in 2001 and used a ladies red leather mini-skirt (I got for $3.95 at a thrift store) for the cover material. that saddle is still going strong.
