I don’t use anything for my phone. I have an iPhone 8+ in a Mophie Juicepack Air (battery case) and just put it in my jersey pocket by itself. The phone is rated IP67 so sweat and rain is not going to do anything to it. I’m sure the newer iPhones are the same or better.
Be careful with that, because the salt in sweat (or salt water) will slowly degrade rubber seals. Eventually it leaks, and the salt will short out electronics (and corrode PCB traces).
