new to touring, and to all-city. I love the fit of the space horse, but want to use it for long-distance, loaded touring. What are your thoughts on:
- How well suited is the frame for bearing loads of 30-50lbs?
- Have any of you tried adding a 3rd chainring (granny gear)? Do the components support doing that?

1) It can handle the weight. If there are enough attachment points for you is the bigger question. (i'm guessing there are)
2) No. You would need to figure out something else, any way you go though you're looking at replacing a sizeable amount of components to get lower gearing.
