IMO you are too upright, with your hands too close to you while seated and this is why you have pressure on your wrists.
I also think that the reason you feel it might be too small is due to how you have it set up with the raised stem which results in your hands being close to you.
Basically you are creating the issues you have mentioned through your fit.
