As has been pointed out, rear Iso will be available on all new Domane models, it's just that the adjustable rear Iso (located on the bottom of the top tube) is only available on the SLR.

As far as the old Domane models, I can understand the fragmentation as it was developmental over a period of a few generations. The original, non-adjustable seat tube IsoSpeed was first. Front Iso was developed and added to the mix. Adjustable seat tube rear Iso was developed and then added to the new, top end models.

But yeah, going back to the non-adjustable seat tube method on these brand new SL bikes seems wrong; an intentional effort to dumb it down so as to not steal sales of the more expensive model.
