Here. I did this a couple of winters ago in order to make use of generous overhead space. It's primarily for lightweight bulky stuff that is little used but held onto for longer than is smart. Just more to get rid of eventually. Your space might not be worth the effort but it's worth considering. Just a word of warning: it's a lot to undertake by yourself and can be tough at times when working alone above your head.

My big plan long term is to install windows high in the back wall and a bench along that wall, but that is a job for later. I have a list of tasks to be completed before that can be undertaken. Someday.
