$450 seems reasonable to me, especially if I can sell that '86 560 (with some newer upgrades) for at least 400 . . . My only other consideration would be this: my friend with the 2001 trek 2200 is most likely going to sell me the bike in a year or so. If I buy this one, can I accept the loss of $50-$100 when I go to resell it . . .

These are rhetorical questions for myself but input is always welcome. Thanks everyone who has replied thus far.
