It snowed here yesterday but I was so busy working I didn't see it. I feel like that girl in the Ray Bradbury story who was locked in the closet the only time it stopped raining in 7 years.

I got washed out to sea during a storm when I was a kid while boogie boarding in Santa Cruz. I think I was 11? The current just took me out like nothing and suddenly I was a mile or 2 out to sea. My friends saw me so I knew someone was coming. Waves weren't too choppy but I was worried about sharks the whole time. After 2 hours I got picked up by the Coast Guard.
