I think you would get a wider set of opinions on how well the
Schwalbe marathon supremes resist flats in one of the touring related subforums. Some there swear by them
. I switched to Schwalbe because I heard horror stories about triggers going flat, but members here don't seem to have a problem. I currently have Schwalbe Marathon Almotions on mine, and haven't had a flat in 500 miles. I don't think I've run over anything that could cause a flat in any quality tire, however.
