Speaking of Manhattans I have recently improved to my taste on the classic recipe by substituting Knob Creek Rye whiskey for the Evan Williams Bottled in Bond Bourbon that I've used for cocktails and Dolin Sweet Vermouth for the Martini & Rossi Red Vermouth and Orange peel for a Cherry. Ask your
bartender, good choice to avoid "mixologists", to concoct one along those lines for you.
