Since riding along the freeway and through downtown San Rafael kind of sucks, I'd suggest a slight variant of the map route and instead cut through Greenbrae and Ross on the bike routes paralleling Sir Francis Drake until San Anselmo. If you guys are good with that I'm happy to lead that section.
