I'm currently struggling with paint color for all the many chips. "Mrs. Peel" is an appropriate name give how much of the paint is gone from places like the forks. The blue is grayer than what I have on hand, and of course you can't tell ANYTHING from pictures online.
One thing I didn't do is new paint. My frame had been power-coated after a crash repair decades ago. It's a bit chipped and scraped in a few areas, but looks decent from a distance. At some point, I'll strip it all down again, get it repainted, and rebuild it. When I ordered the new decals that are currently on it, I also ordered a duplicate set in anticipation of a future repaint. I have changed my mind multiple times about what that future color will be. It might stay black. it's kind of grown on me.
