I do this too. I worry about quality time indoors vs the miles.
So I tracked the miles difference between my Garmin sensors and Zwift miles all of last year just for the fun of it. I know I am a geek that way.
My Garmin says I did about 690 miles on the trainer. I would say this is the actual miles because its measured on my bike sensors. Zwift miles were 938. Yeah that is a large difference.
I delete the Zwift data off my Garmin Connect account and only use my bike computer data. However I do leave the numbers on Strava because I don't use that for anything other than the "fun" aspect and social interaction with mates. So my Strava numbers always look awesome but "virtually inflated"
