I did some clothing for a Moto Guzzi group years ago and also found that bags are considerably less postage than any box. Can't recall where I got them but I bought about 100 poly shipping bags for for like 10 bucks. Most of what I shipped was tee shirts but also some hoodies and they fit in the bags fine.

SammyJ , the USPS bags are free at any post office, and out of their mailing options they are the least expensive. I fit as many as five items in a tyvek envelope when the last 50+ kit sale was sent out. Just a suggestion for his consideration.
