I am not sure if it is me or the bike, but the trails that were moderate last year are easy now. This bike has either increased my abilities or has its own abilities. I did a fair amount of reading and research before ordering this bike and I had difficulty finding anyone who had anything bad to say about it. I now understand why. The only down side is that I feel really bad for my son who is riding a mildly upgraded Trek 820. He did really great today, but I know that he could be having so much more fun on a better bike, but he is still too small. Maybe, if he grows a bit this summer, a 27+ will be under the Christmas tree.
I went from an old 26 inch GT triple triangle hardtail to the Stache and it made the trails seem a lot easier.
