No. That video is from using no studded tires at all! You can keep yourself upright with studs on the front only. It’s the front wheel that’s squirrely not the rear. I also mentioned that if the conditions warrant a tire change, then the OP should switch to studded tires only. The point of the OPs post was to get away from wearing out studded tires during in between seasons when there isn’t enough ice to warrant a permanent switch.
