It would be nice to find a balance. The coastal areas of California are nice but cost prohibitive for a serf like me. Some of the mountain areas are still cheap enough but now we have fires running all over them. I think the heat here is worse than it used to be but I don't have data at hand. I just know it's going to be 108 today and it's already almost 90.
