Well that is assuming you can afford a room. No way would I want to go long distance in coach. But I can afford it now. and once I retire, I will have the time to pad a day on the destination city in case the train arrives late. Another reason I have not taken the train to my tour. But last 2 years I have taken the train back and am doing it again this year.

I plan on touring out of Spokane next year. Bad news is the train schedule sucks in and out of Spokane.
