No one is upset. The OP said he's just trying to discern a fake - which is becoming a huge problem.
I would have, if I had to post, put it in general cycling.
It is a slight problem...really only a problem if you don't buy from authorized dealers and continue feeding the fake and knockoff markets. Obviously not talking used here but first purchase stuff. For used you want to be careful but minor weight variation is not really anything especially considering we have a sample size of one.
