This came up on eBay a few months ago on eBay from a local seller that get donated bikes and sells for charity. I was outbidded at the last second. Ended up it was a friend of mine who won the auction. One of the few bikes I was upset about not getting and he wasn’t about to sell it to me. A few days ago a Serotta Colorado AL popped up on Craigslist for $75, I ended up getting it after giving the seller a bit of info and a little more cash. Knowing my buddy would love to have the Serotta I made a proposition and a deal was struck. Very happy with the outcome. The Cannondale is in great shape and will make a great touring bike, I’ve got plenty of road bike and really wasn’t very fond of the aluminum Serotta. Other than swapping shifters I put a smaller inner chainring, new cables and cleaned and regreased the bearings. New tan bar tape is on order. I’ll see how the original tires hold up before I order new Paselas.
