That's how I try to do it. I stuff towels into heat ducts, close windows and doors towels @ the bottom of doors. Vacuum in the room with me already. Sand it, clean it up, shower. Done.
When I sanded the repairs in the hallway , I had to answer the door. ( package delivery) I left white foot prints on the hardwood floors. So the floors hot a free unscheduled washing.
mid job. This house is all wet plaster but you can tell it was the lowest bidder.
