The "old timey" WALD 139 front basket rack is still being made today and you can get them for approx $30 and free shipping....see #173883530461 on the bay or see amazon.

The old PLETSCHER rear racks -and- the BLACKBURN rear racks are very useful.

There is an ancient Child Carrier from the late seventies that IS REALLY DANGEROUS FOR CHILD CARRYING BY TODAY'S STANDARDS, but it is amazingly useful for Utility Duty thanks to it's strong frame and it's large plastic/fiberglass molded high back seat.
It is the "ORIGINAL HIGH BACK CHILD CARRIER by Troxel (beat up example...see the bay#133031061646......these things you can find FREE or never more than $5 at flea mkt/garage sale/craigs, as they are Obsolete/dangerous for their original purpose of carrying kids.....as the single belt strap really doesn't secure the child much better than no strap.................well it was the seventies and bike safety was all about reflectors and flags..... no helmets then or any thoughts of what might happen if bounced or catapulted out, or if the bike went down... ....just hang on....be cool, hang ten and everything would be alright, yeah....was the mindset at the time. Schwinn carried one of these in their 1978 catalog with slight mounting differences....you can view it here https://waterfordbikes.com/SchwinnCa...0/1978_56.html
