I haven’t noticed “frankenbike” and it’s synonym, “parts bin build”, an assemblage of workable but mismatched components using what was readily available.

The pretentious version would be “curated build” or “purpose-built”. Also mismatched componentry but selected for a specific purpose or aesthetic. Also see: “matchy-matchy”.

There’s a dive bar in our neighborhood on Broadway named Bob’s Your Uncle.
