Telemedicine visits are interesting. We are using an intermediary called doxy.me that I suspect is kinda like Zoom or Skype, but is HIPAA compliant. Sometimes it works seamlessly, but sometimes the connection is slow and it does not work.
By and large, most patients are appreciative of the ability to "see" me and be "seen" by me without having to come in to the office.
Same with us. I never even meet my new appointment anymore, I just talk to them over the phone while they stay in the parking lot. I thought clients would raise their hackles at that but they've uniformly just been grateful that we're able to see them at all.
