I did a mini-tri as a team member several years ago. It's near Chattanooga and held at the beginning of October. To me that seems too late to be in a frigid lake, but I don't swim so what do I know?
With a wetsuit it’s not bad at all. And it’s a river, if that makes it warmer. Not sure if it does.
