I would argue that the Denali was still just a road-bike-shaped-object, being that it had twist shifters, and came with slow beefy hybrid-like tires, and was pretty heavy. As such, it still wasn't quite a 'real' road bike,

whereas this BOHE thing really does meet all the requirements to qualify as a real 'gravel bike' and is not just a gravel-bike-shaped-object. But I don't own it yet - maybe the frame really will turn out to be super heavy crap or something (although the welds look very neat in the photos).
