If someone has a solution to this better than being very mindful of foot placement, then I would be more inclined to recommend them.
The "airchuck" style of removable pedals use a little plastic clip to deal with this.
the Q111 style need to be squeezed
maybe a clip to block this is in order , though that kinda defeats the convenience
