This is my hybrid bike, a Sense Activ 2020 model that I bought new in January of 2020. She was like this for most of 2020, fairly original:
Aluminum frame and fork, fairly heavy 38c tires, Acera components that frankly never had me completely satisfied. Lot's of adjustments needed fairly frequently, not sure why, those are not junk parts. Because of that, I decided to upgrade the drive train to a 1x11 SLX configuration. I also managed to do it on my own, I learned a lot and had lots of fun. I think half the money I spent in cycling in 2020 was on tools.
Anyway, this is how she's now:
Really happy with the results. The bike is now a lot lighter, faster, quieter and more reliable.
