BTW, when you travel around Russia and the former soviet lands, you see amazing feats like this. These people obviously have the technical goods, it's a shame they can't put it to better use creating consumer products the rest of the world wants (besides AK's and Sukhois). Travelling around the Urals near Ekaterinburg you see incredible off-road vehicles made out of rusting Lada Nivas.
