Nice. My Frejus Tour de France was like that. Looked like a disaster, but was just 30 years of dust and crud floating out of the basement air. I have those same Shimano 600 levers on one of my bikes. Those hoods are sturdy. As for the special headset wrench, they come up frequently on eBay. Searching for "Shimano headset wrench" just now I saw several.
