Well yeah. Mankind LIVED with and accepted that there were things we could not prevent or help. Up until recent history it was attributed to things like upsetting the gods, bad smells, vampires...such as that. Only recently have we learned what the actual causation is and attempted to do anything about it. Somewhere along the line we crossed a line from "hoping we can find a cure" to "expecting that we will find a cure". In my own opinion a lot of that comes via the age group prevalent now in which there HAS been a pill for a lot of the things we suffered from. Misuse of medications and other factors are reversing that trend. It is a natural process. We are not going to live forever. Something will kill us. It might be corona. It could be the cure for corona. It could be the flu...
