I don’t usually give much advice on cold weather gear because it’s very personal. Some people need more insulation etc. than others for various body parts. However, in general, if you feel comfy at the start of a cold ride, you very likely overdressed and will either sweat too much/overheat or have to shed layers. If you feel slightly chilled, you likely did it right.

We had a fantastic ride btw. Definitely beats fake miles.
