I could tell that on today’s ride, the RD cable is starting to fray again. I economized my rear shifting and was able to finish without cable breaking.

I have a whole set of new brake and shifter cables and housing that I was planning to put on the Habanero this winter, I think this is a sign that it’s time.

While I have the Habby under repair I will ride the Roubaix. Funny thing, I have the stock rear wheel for the Roubaix taken out and have a crappy Forte Titan in its place. I made that switch over a year ago and can’t remember why. I must be getting old.
