Riding a double pace line with your club on an MUP is in itself no problem. Perhaps if you did not intend to rant against this particular thing, you should not have started your post with "What the hell is up with club rides on on MUP?"
Since you obviously have a problem with reading comprehension, I'll repeat:
a group of about 20 roadies in a double pace line, probably doing 22-25 mph. On the MUP. On a holiday weekend morning.
Maybe you should try reading more than one sentence before you get butthurt.
