Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

These "java" update things are driven by malicious ads that get slipped into the adstream. It's an internet wide problem that exploits a java vulnerability. Disable Java in your browsers for your safety. Most of even the malicious ones are mainly PUP(Potentially Unwanted Programming, bundled into the software), but there are some real nasties out there as well that use the same delivery method, embedded in a java worm.

This issue is outside of our control except in a reactive response by finding out which ad it is an blocking that invisible ad and it's like playing Whack-a-Mole at level 1,000,000,000,000! The best thing of users that you can do to help us as we patternn analyze is to get us as much info as you can, like mabe random;y jot notes of a screenshot from time to time that shows the ads and if that prompt pops up, we bhave a started list of high risk ads to investigate.

Thanks all for your help in advance for keeping the garbage ot of or living room!
