Your Disk Brakes *may* be a problem
Depends if those Aries brakes are designed to use V-brake cable pull or canti/caliper style cable pull.
google didn't return any obvious info
but I suspect they are V-brake style longer cable pull...
in which case, the road levers won't work right with them....
do your existing flatbar levers have any markings that might give a hint? do they say V-brake on them anyplace?
taking a photo of them with the lever squeezed so we can see the cable attachment point might also help determine
