I agree. My 8 years of college I worked in surgery 3-11. I assisted on a couple of deliveries every month. Emergencies. I always thought the Pfannensteil incision would have more pain post op.
Hard to say because everyone's level of pain, and ability to recover, is different. At least my scar never got in the way of my cycling or riding afterwards, but I know of others who had the vertical scar who never had full flexibility midcenter afterwards- which may well be an issue with cycling on anything other than an upright.
