That’s pretty much it, I think. Especially reinforced by their statement for altitude acclimation that one better leave their device on stand by feature, so it turns on at midnight and checks barometric pressure before it goes back to sleep.
For both of those features, the unit supposedly adjusts the VO2 max and training status for calculated acclimation levels.
