Do you guys have any recommendations for gloves that would help with the nerves in the hands? One thing is to be sure they aren't too tight. I like Garneau gloves but not too thick or too much padding. When I ride my Chorus equipped bike I rarely get hand pain but on the Ultegra bike my left thumb gets sore and hurts for days sometimes. I think it's from torquing on the hoods which are bigger with Ultegra.
I think the main thing is to maintain a light touch on the bars when you can and keep your elbows relaxed.
