He had rigged up a noise meter to a computer, so that every time the ambient sound exceeded what he thought was appropriate, it automatically emailed a noise complaint to the airport, complaining about the skydiving plane. That generated as many as 44 complaints per day, even on days when the skydiving business was not operating.
