A Thomson seatpost is somehow both unexpected and also par for the course with you.
It came fitted on my GT when i first bought it. It was all I had laying around for use at the time.
If you heard the story as to how the auto body mechanic got this seatpost (which turned out not to be the correct diameter) in there, you'll cringe.
