Apparently they get lots of snow in these parts. Not sure how the plow truck would get through it all. As it was, this road was closed to four wheel traffic due to snow, some of which required a bit of a push. This is about 20 miles outside of Tetons National Park on the Ashton Flagg Ranch road. Sorry for the separate posts; I tried to post all the photos in one post but the site didn't like it. This year I was able to make it into Colorado from Banff in about 3 weeks; about 1600 miles. Fully loaded (with water) the Jones was about 60 pounds. If you've ever thought about giving the Tour Divide a go, I'd consider doing it soon- many of the vistas on the ride are now threatened by mining and logging and may not exist in ten years, although the area of this shot probably will as its right on the border of Yellowstone.
