just picked up my Shogun 400, first road bike Ive owned. Serial # S3K6076.
Frame is in good shape, paint is good for the most part, S logo on head tube. Dark maroon and cream head tube. 3TTT stem and bars, these are in excellent condition.
Components are a mix, not much is original. Newer nashbar brakes, suntour brake handles. Shimano 600 in the rear, Altus up front. Takagi 40/52 (original?), Matrix wheels, front hub is Shimani, rear hard to tell. 6 speeds. Newer WTB saddle, newer Hutchinson Nitro tires 700x28c labeled
Sticker at top of seat tube is pretty worn but I can make out Champion no.5
Sticker below bike shop sticker is worn beyond recognition.
Any idea on year?
