That was one of the issues I had with the red, unvented chamois in the last pair of Attack shorts I bought. The other, and most important, was the cut of the chamois is different than the blue and where it was sewn around the crotch, was chaffing the heck out of me. Never had that problem with the older Attack shorts or the Bellwether or LG shorts I have now. Of the two brands I'm now using, I like the LG's a bit better but really wish that PI would go back to the old style, blue vented chamois. They fit me so well and were so comfortable that I could ride all day without using any creams and not have any issues.
