There is a bigg difference between a few hour power and multi-day GT ability. Like comparing a miler (runner) to a marathon runner. Cycling likes marathon types (I like shorter). As such I don't see our cx guys really making the transition. Brandon is still TBD - but I think my best bet on the new big thing - other than our TdF winner :-)
We'll see how he does now that he's going to ride full time for a UCI world team, but my hopes for him have faded. I wish him well, though.
