I ordered the Dawes lighting 1000 and for a four hundred dollar road bike I'm liking it a lot. I basically only had to true the wheels a tad. Adjustment of the cables is normal routine when new. I was concerned about which size I should get so I contacted BD telling them which models I was interested in and my Dawes is a perfect fit. Finally I own a road bike my size! Frame is a much darker shade then what is pictured on their site but that's a plus as far as I'm concerned. I will go with BD.com the next time I want a new bike.
